
• JGC is currently seeking an EPC Project Manager to oversee commercial and utility-scale photovoltaic solar projects through development, construction, commissioning and turnover to Operations. The successful candidate will assist in due diligence on potential project acquisitions, define EPC scopes of work for projects nearing construction, and plan and track progress on active construction projects. This position will be based in Boulder, CO and report to the Director of Engineering and Construction. The role requires the ability to manage multiple project portfolios, and to travel periodically to inspect major construction milestones at job sites.
• Manage all aspects of the project, from Front End Engineering & Design (FEED) through Detailed Design, Commissioning and Start‐Up.
• Must place a significant emphasis on managing every project with the intention of increasing contract value and/or revenue along with delivering profit margin expectations
•Manage customers for each project effectively by capturing scope creep and impacts along with generating change orders accordingly to avoid low or negative profit margins.
• Directing and communicating to project team members of what each project’s scope, schedule, and budget entails. This will also involve making sure that all project team members understand what their projects and respective tasks entail in order to deliver on or before the required completion dates..
• Developing project schedules and reports for customers and project team.
• Develop and manage resource allocation tools to ensure that all project team resources are billable and utilized effectively.
• Must have proven experience in building and maintaining strong customer relationships along with being able to interface with customers effectively in a positive manner.
• Execute technology solutions for our control, safety and information systems projects in the industrial process markets that we serve.
• Lead automation engineers, designers, panel integration & fabrication resources, and start‐up / commissioning personnel on a wide variety of control system and automation projects.
